The Guadalupe Valley is located a couple of hours south of the Mexican border from downtown San
Diego. A wine country with green valleys and impressive landscapes of mountains and vineyards,
where 90% of wines are produced in Mexico.
What does it offer?
Today it is one of the most popular destinations among local and international tourists, thanks to its
wide range of quality wines, interesting gastronomic proposals, as well as its diversity of outdoor
activities for the whole family
The perfect combination for the wines of Valle de Guadalupe is the flourishing culinary movement. This small region hosts two of the 10 Mexican restaurants that appear on last year's inaugural list of the top 50 Latin American restaurants compiled by Restaurant magazine. This is motivated by the arrival of great chefs who have made Valle de Guadalupe their home.
The range of wineries includes artisan wineries, boutique wineries, large and small commercial wineries. Most of these wineries are located around the valley and allow free access and others require a reservation. In many of the wineries you can visit with the winemakers themselves, making it an especially memorable experience.
